Begonia Illuminating Apricot
Our best-selling trailing Begonia, Illuminating Apricot has a tumbling mass of pretty flowers in a rich blend of yellow and orange shades that just keep on and on all summer and into the autumn. Flowering from June to October, this beautiful variety thrives in full sun which makes it a relatively easy variety to grow. It also performs particularly well in shady positions and needs virtually no deadheading, offering successional flowers all summer long. Ideal for pots or containers, but especially in hanging baskets, this pretty plant requires little attention was established. When the plant has five or six leaves, pinch out the growing points to encourage bushier growth and more flowers. Plant this variety in multi-purpose compost that drains well, as Begonias do not do well if kept too moist. Be sure to water only when the soil is dry to touch; do not overwater.
