Begonia Partytime
Requiring little attention once they’re established, Begonias will bloom continuously until the first frost – and this beautifully vibrant variety is no different. The beauty of this best-seller is that it’s covered in masses of stunning red, pink and white flowers, which are complemented by glossy green and bronze foliage. Fantastically vigorous and easy to grow, Begonia Partytime will flower from May to October and should be planted in multi-purpose compost that drains well. Begonias rot if kept too moist so bear that in mind when planting. Equally happy in the sun, this particular Begonia was the winner of an RHS award and costs from only 6p per plug. What’s more, it will perform particularly well in shady positions and needs virtually no deadheading, offering successional flowers all summer long. Water only when the soil is dry to touch, being careful not to overwater. Perfect in hanging baskets, for beds and borders or in pots and containers, Begonia Partytime is a truly versatile plant and grows to a height of 30cm.
