Very well design and useful tool, hold with the tip pointing down and it acts as a natural extension of the hand, scooping the soil like a giant ice-cream scoop. The deeply dished design is ideal for rapid and spill-free transferring of compost and it allows very tight holes to be dug. It is particularly good for use with small pots. The body is stainless steel with serrated edges to saw through roots and the handle is birch.
