This Crocosmia mix is a great way to fill your garden with a mixture of bright and bold blooms towards the end of the summer months. A cottage garden favourite, they will produce masses of brilliant yellow, orange, and red flowers in freesia-like sprays that contrast effortlessly against the sword-shaped, pleated foliage.

They are a superb choice for planting in large groups, where they will light up your borders, or why not try them in pots around your patio where their arching leaves will overflow.

Very easy to grow, these hardy perennials will grow as tall as 1.2m and will look perfect in the middle or towards the back of your mixed beds and borders.

Care Guide

Planting Advice for Crocosmia:

• Corms should be planted like any other bulb and are easiest to plant if you just dig a hole about 10cm deep and space a handful about 2cm apart. This will give you a good-sized clump straight away and you can lift and divide clumps as they expand.
• If you prefer a more spaced display, then plant them in clumps in groups of 5 about 10cm apart. If your soil is heavy, add some horticultural grit to the planting hole.

Aftercare Advice:

• Water well and regularly.
• Mulch corms in winter to preserve moisture.
• Lift and divide clumps in spring if flowering diminishes.
• Cut back dead leaves in spring.

Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
