Our fabulous living pot-grown Christmas trees are a real winner. Enjoy that lovely pine fragrance without the stress of dropped needles - because it's still alive! These Nordmann Fir boast large and thick branches, and a slightly blue needle reverse to provide a near two-tone effect.

This is a beautiful evergreen garden tree, lovely all year round and does not need special feeding or pruning - just ensure it does not dry out in summer. Very slow growing, you can use it for many Christmas seasons to come!

Keep for years by watering the rootball a little when indoors at Christmas, then once the decorations come down, pop it back outside and keep it growing. These trees are British-grown on the same farms as cut trees, so have been nurtured and trimmed in just the same way.

Supplied as an established, living tree, approximately 70-100cm tall, above the pot. Please note, the pictured decorative pot is for illustrative purposes and is not included. This tree is supplied in a nursery pot.

Top Tips

Give a little water to the tree pot when indoors over festive season to keep the rootball moist. Place outside in a sunny position once Christmas is over, and it will happily grow for many years.

Care Information

On Arrival:

Remove all packaging immediately on arrival and give your tree a good drink of water.

Indoor Over Christmas:

Place your tree in a cool, bright position away from direct heat sources across the Christmas period. Avoid placing it near radiators or fireplaces, as these will dry out the tree.
Water to keep the rootball moist.

Planting In The Ground Or Containers:

Once the festivities are over, your tree outside.
Place it in a sheltered, frost-free area for a few days before positioning it in its spot for the year.
Keep your tree in its pot on the patio or in the garden, ideally in a sunny or partially shaded spot.
Repot it every 2-3 years into a slightly larger container, using good-quality compostm such as our Premium Professional Compost.
If kept potted, you can bring your tree back inside from mid-November or early December. Continue the same care routine � with a cool position, bright light and regular watering.

Ongoing Care:

Aim to keep the compost moist � watering when the compost feels dry to the touch.
Watering should be increased during prolonged spells of hot, dry weather in summer.
Fairly low maintenance. Just aim to maintain the attractive, typical �Christmas Tree� shape by removing any shoots that grow in an incorrect direction.
Prune away any dead, diseased or dying branches.
Feed occasionally with a liquid evergreen-specific fertiliser through the growing season, from spring to summer.
When repotting, avoid moving your tree to a container that is significantly larger than its existing pot.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
