A beautiful, flavour-packed peach! 'Honey Gold' delivers delightfully sweet fruits in abundance.

This is an early ripening patio peach with a high brix rating. The vibrant golden flesh is firm, juicy, and beautifully sweet, with a depth of taste that shop-bought fruit simply cannot replicate.

The tree itself is a dream to grow. Naturally compact, staying under 1.2m tall for ten years or more, it is a natural choice for a large container, a sunny patio, a balcony, or a smaller garden border. It is self-fertile too, so one tree is genuinely all you need for a heavy, reliable annual harvest.

Before the fruit arrives, spring delivers a breathtaking display of soft pink blossom covering every branch - beautiful to look at and irresistible to bees and early pollinators. Protect from late frosts where possible to secure the fullest crop.

Supplied as an established plant in a 5 litre pot, ready to plant.

Top Tips

For bigger crops, use an artist's soft paintbrush, moving from flower to flower to increase pollination.
Try to keep the canopy dry each spring as the leaves emerge, to avoid leaf curl.

Care Information

Although frost-tolerant, it is still best practice to protect the blossom with fleece, and pollination should be helped by transferring pollen to other flowers with a soft artist's brush.
When fruit appears, it will need thinning. Remove poorly placed, small or misshapen fruits when they are about the width of your little fingernail. With peaches, aim to have a fruit every 15cm.
Water container-grown trees almost every day during the growing season and give them a high potash liquid feed every couple of weeks.
Avoid excessive or irregular watering when fruit is ripening to prevent the skin splitting.
As the fruit develops it may need protection from birds and squirrels.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
