There's nothing quite like the taste of freshly picked strawberries, bursting from decorative pre-planted baskets, letting you bask in luxury without lifting a trowel!

Each basket arrives pre-planted with five premium everbearing �Sweet Summer� plants. These clever little plants are real grafters - they�ll start producing plump, conical berries in early summer and just keep going until the first frosts.

'Sweet Summer' really lives up to its name - the berries are firm yet juicy, and packed with proper strawberry flavour. Unlike some supermarket types, these are sweet as you like and perfect for popping straight into your mouth, adding to desserts, or even blitzing into a cheeky summer smoothie.

The plants have a tidy, compact habit with very few runners, which means all their energy goes into making fruit rather than trailing off in all directions. That makes them a doddle to care for, especially in baskets.

Just hang them up somewhere sunny - patios, balconies, pergolas, even a shepherd�s hook by the back door - and keep them watered. The display alone is worth it: cascading green foliage, dainty white flowers, and ruby red fruits just asking to be picked.

Top Tips

Fruit should be picked as soon as berries are red, if possible, in dry weather, taking care to leave the green stalk in place once fruit is picked.

Care Information

Strawberry plants need a good six to eight hours of full sun a day for optimal fruit production, so hang your basket somewhere sunny.
Strawberry containers should be watered daily and will need regular feeding (once a month until blooming) due to the limited amount of nutrients in the pot.
Water regularly to prevent the plants drying out. When watering, try not to get the fruit wet.
Feed your strawberries at least once a month until flowering and then every ten days with a liquid feed that is high in potassium and low in nitrogen, such as our own liquid strawberry feed.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

*Please note, once your item has been delivered, we cannot be held responsible for loss or theft from your delivery address. If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
