Three compact shrubs create three completely different moods! 'Little Blackberry' supplies near-black drama, 'Little Cerise' adds a rich dark pink, and 'Little Bubblegum' lifts the whole display with intensely vibrant neon-pink plumes.

What unites them is the performance of the 'Butterfly Candy' series. Each variety is very floriferous and well branched, developing into a naturally rounded plant that carries flowers across a full framework. 'Little Blackberry' reaches around 90cm high and 80cm wide, while the two pink varieties grow to 80cm high and wide. That makes the entire trio easy to accommodate in patio pots, narrower borders and smaller gardens.

Position them near a sunny seating area and their sweet fragrance can be enjoyed alongside the butterflies and bees drawn to the blooms. Hardy down to -18C, these compact shrubs also bring reassuring resilience through UK winters.

Supplied as a set of three established plants in 9cm pots, including one each of:

Buddleia �Butterfly Candy Little Blackberry�: The darkest-flowered variety in the series, producing sweetly scented, deep purple plumes that appear almost black on a rounded shrub reaching 90cm high and 80cm wide.
Buddleia �Butterfly Candy Little Bubblegum�: The series� most vibrant red-toned variety, with sweetly scented neon-pink plumes on a compact, naturally rounded shrub growing to 80cm high and wide.
Buddleia �Butterfly Candy Little Cerise�: The rich, dark-pink member of the trio, carrying sweetly scented cerise plumes across a very floriferous, well-branched shrub growing to just 80cm high and wide.

Top Tips

Buddleia plants are low maintenance, but they do benefit from pruning in early spring to maintain a nice compact plant.

Care Information

Plant Buddleia in garden borders in any moist, well drained garden soil, in full sun or semi-shade.
Ideal for planting in patio containers using soil-based compost.
Prune Buddleia in March, once the hardest frosts are over, as the new growth begins to show.
Firstly, remove any dead, diseased, damaged, or weak stems, before pruning all off the remaining stems back to form a low framework.
Drought tolerant once established.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
