An extra large classic olive tree - at least 2m tall from day one! Colossal in size, and ready to impress right away! With a trunk circumference of 45 to 55cm, this is a specimen of maturity, character and garden presence.

Trees of this size and quality take many decades to develop in their natural Mediterranean habitat. The fact that you can have one delivered directly to your garden, already around 25 years old, in a substantial 90 litre pot and ready to make an immediate impact, is remarkable!

The canopy is a beautiful mass of shimmering silvery-grey evergreen leaves that catch the light magnificently throughout the year. In spring, clusters of tiny, delicate creamy-white flowers dust the branches with seasonal charm. And in a warm, sunny British summer, there is every chance of actual olives forming and ripening.

Despite looking every inch the sun-drenched Mediterranean aristocrat, this olive is a tough and resilient tree. Hardy down to -8�C, drought tolerant once properly established, and wonderfully low maintenance, it truly is a plant that gives back enormously in return for very little effort.

Supplied as an established, approximately 25 year old Olive in a 90 litre pot, at least 2m tall, with a trunk circumference of 45-55cm.

This Olive Tree needs the sunniest spot available in your garden to encourage a fruit crop.

Care Information

If planting in a container, use a loam-based compost with the addition of about 20 per cent grit to help with drainage. If planting in the garden, add grit to the planting hole to improve drainage.
Pot-grown plants should be transferred to a slightly larger pot each spring.
Olive Trees are hardy but they benefit from winter protection. Small potted plants can be moved inside, while outside plants can be bubble-wrapped around the pot and fleece used to protect the canopy.
Although drought tolerant, pot-grown olives must be watered regularly and not be allowed to dry out.
Clip trees occasionally to keep their shape.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.
