Description

Big, blousy Dahlia blooms that impress for months! The dazzling 'Boogie Woogie' and 'Garden Show' reward with months of flower power from mid-summer all the way to the first frost.

'Boogie Woogie' boasts dark pink outer petals and a central puff of yellow, many tinged in dark red towards the end. 'Garden Show' produces pale pink petals with darker raspberry markings, all surrounding creamy yellow florets.

What's more, these dahlias are generous bloomers. The more you cut, the more they flower. Pop a few in a vase and you'll bring that same burst of joy indoors. And if you're after drama in a container, they're just as happy in large pots. Imagine that on your patio, without spending a fortune on bedding plants every year.

These top-quality tubers are ready to grow, and honestly, they couldn�t be easier. Plant them in a sunny, well-drained spot and feed regularly through the season. Give them a little support and they�ll shoot up to around 1m tall, putting on a performance worthy of any show garden.

Supplied as a set of four tubers, grade 1, including two of each named variety.

Top Tips

If you find that earwigs are a problem, the organic way to control them is to position pots filled with straw upside down on canes spaced around your dahlias.

Care Information

Dahlias are tender tubers and do best when potted up initially in March or early April, into large pots (2 - 3L) filled with multi-purpose compost.
Placed in a light, frost-free place and kept moist, they'll quickly form bushy plants by the time the frosts have ended, ready to be planted out into the garden.
In the garden, dig a hole at least 30cm wide x 30cm deep for each one, spacing each tuber 75cm apart.
If you don�t have anywhere to start them in pots, you can put the tubers straight into the ground when the frosts are nearly over.
Once a fortnight, feed them with a liquid feed such as our Blooming Fast Superior plant feed. During dry periods, water at least once a week.
Dahlias should be deadheaded regularly to encourage more blooms and you will need to stake the plants to prevent the flowers from breaking the stems.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
