Big, bold and breathtaking - Lily 'Dinner Plate Binasco' is an Oriental lily with blooms up to 20-25cm across! Petals glow pink with crisp white centres. These oversized flowers combine sheer size, exquisite colour and a sweet fragrance that fills the air.

Before opening, the buds are a deep, lustrous pink and beautifully uniform, for a neat, professional look even before flowering begins. Once in full bloom, they become focal points in borders and containers, adding elegance and perfume to every display.

These Oriental lilies boast a signature scent and exotic beauty. The tall stems, reaching up to 90cm, are sturdy and well-leaved, supporting each massive flower perfectly upright.

They're easy to grow in sunny or partially shaded positions and catch the eye when grouped in threes or fives. The blooms last well when cut too, bringing the garden's fragrance indoors for weeks on end.

Supplied as a set of five bulbs, size 14/16, ready to plant.

Top Tips

Give lilies a good mulch to keep the roots cool and keep well-watered when in full growth.

Care Information

Lily bulbs can be planted from autumn right through to the summer and are happy planted both straight into the ground or into containers.
In general, lilies are ever so easy to grow and with a sunny spot, frequent watering keeping soil moist (not wet) and a little high potassium fertilizer, you�ll get some fantastic displays.
Plant in sun or light shade, where they won�t be disturbed.
Dig a hole for each group at least 20cm deep or 3 x the size of the bulb. Spread a 5cm layer of grit all over the bottom to help drainage. Place your bulb onto the gravel and back-fill with soil.
Lilies prefer well-drained soil, so on heavy, clay soils which can be too wet, you can grow your lilies in pots, which can then be dropped into borders where you want flowers.
After the lily blooms, you can also remove just the flower. Do NOT remove leaves until they have died down and turned brown.

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
