This compact and highly rewarding variety is grown for its aromatic, flavour-packed fruit. Perfect for patio pots and smaller outdoor spaces, it combines evergreen beauty with home-grown limes that offer a sharp, zesty taste.

Through summer, the glossy bushy foliage is joined by delicate white flowers with soft yellow centres, creating an elegant display even before the fruit begins to develop. By late summer and into autumn, the tree carries its distinctive limes, typically around 6cm across, each one packed with the bold, tangy flavour.

Hardier than you may expect, it can remain outdoors for much of the year before being moved to a more sheltered spot for winter protection. For gardeners wanting an exotic-looking patio tree with real culinary appeal, this is a superb choice.

Supplied as an established plant in a 4 litre pot, approximately 70-90cm tall, ready to plant.

For best results, bring indoors to a cool area for winter.
Feed with specialist feed every month in spring and summer growth - they are hungry fellows.

Care Information

Citrus tend not to thrive in centrally heated homes, so make sure this spends mid-June to late September outside to make the most of the available sunshine - but remember they are not frost tolerant so will need bringing under cover if cold nights threaten.
Only minimal pruning is required to reshape or remove dead or damaged shoots.

Watering:

In summer, water freely - ideally using rainwater, while in winter you can reduce the amount - allowing the surface to partially dry out before watering again. Always allow excess water to drain away.
Our beautiful Mediterranean citrus trees are grown in a slightly heavier growing medium, so be sure to take care when watering. Be sure not to overwater, as with all your plants, but also make sure not to allow the soil to dry out.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
