Description

Valued for strong shape, glossy green foliage and an overall relaxed tropical style, this two stem Dragon Tree is a fantastic houseplant for your home.

Upright stems support clusters of wide, sword shaped leaves with gently wavy edges, creating a clean and architectural look.

The plant grows to a manageable height, around 1.2m or so, so is striking as a floor specimen. Plus, its slow growth rate means it keeps its shape well and requires very little ongoing attention.

Dracaenas are recognised for their ability to help improve indoor air quality, filtering unwanted pollutants while they grow. This makes them a popular choice for living rooms, offices and bedrooms where a healthier indoor environment is welcome.

This variety copes well with a range of indoor conditions, including slightly lower light levels, which makes placement easy and flexible.

Supplied as an established plant in a 17cm pot, ready to display. The two stems measure approximately 30cm and 10cm tall.

Top Tips

Water the plant only when the top 1 inch of soil is dry and then water it thoroughly with tepid water, however, never allow the base of the pot to sit in a saucer of water.

Care Information

Feed the plant with a liquid-based houseplant fertiliser every two weeks in spring and summer.
Repot every two years into a pot one size larger until plants reach the desired height. After that, repot every three years into the same pot to refresh the soil.
Control your plant's height by cutting off the top when needed. The stem will look a bit bare for a while, but within a few weeks, new shoots will appear and the leaves will regrow.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
