Repotting Your Houseplants:

• Repot soon after arrival, as these are already established plants and ready for more root space.
• Choose a decorative pot around 2-5cm wider than the existing 12cm nursery pot, with good drainage holes.
• Use a free-draining houseplant compost. Adding a little perlite or fine bark will help keep the mix open around the roots.
• Gently remove the plant from its nursery pot, keeping the root ball intact and loosening only tightly circling roots.
• Replant at the same depth it was growing before. Do not bury the stem or crown deeper.
• Fill around the roots with fresh compost, firm lightly, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain away.
• Avoid jumping straight into an oversized pot. Moving up gradually helps prevent compost staying wet for too long.

Ongoing Care:

• Give bright, indirect light. Avoid prolonged harsh midday sun, which can scorch the leaves.
• Water when the top few centimetres of compost feel dry. Soak thoroughly, then let excess water drain away. Never leave the pot standing in water.
• Growth naturally slows in winter, so water less often and stop or greatly reduce feeding. Keep plants away from cold draughts and chilly windows.
• Keep in a warm room and avoid sudden temperature changes. These are tropical houseplants and dislike cold conditions.
• Normal household humidity is usually adequate, although plants appreciate slightly higher humidity, particularly in centrally heated rooms.
• During active spring and summer growth, feed regularly with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Wipe dust from larger leaves occasionally and remove any yellowing or damaged foliage to keep plants looking fresh.

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
