Description
Don't compare this dwarf variety with other larger pampas grasses. At just 60cm tall, this is the most compact pampas grass available!
Originally from South America, sensational pampas grass is an attractive ornamental plant that has become hugely popular across the UK.
Extremely easy to grow and care for, it is also fully hardy in the UK down to freezing temperatures. Ideal as a focal feature, it looks equally impressive planted alongside other grasses and shrubs in borders.
'Tiny Pampa' forms a tight, clump-forming mound of fine, arching foliage and stays neatly around 60cm tall. This means you can enjoy those classic soft, feathery plumes even in a smaller garden or when growing in pots on a patio or balcony.
The real show begins in late summer, just as many other plants are starting to slow down. That is when 'Tiny Pampa' produces its striking ivory flower plumes, soft, fluffy and gently swaying in the breeze. They last well into autumn and look just as stunning left standing through winter or cut for dried arrangements indoors.
Top Tips
This grass makes an excellent architectural feature and can also be used effectively for informal screening.

- Place your plant in the hole at the same level at the pot then refill the hole with the earth removed.
- Firm in the soil with your heel, avoiding the root ball and water well before adding a mulch around the base of the plant.
