Description
Flowering from the depths of winter right through to late spring, this Polyanthus mix is designed to impress, and it does! These are no shrinking violets. Each 'multiflora' plant is packed with energy, throwing up stem after stem of bold, beautifully scented flowers.
You'll start seeing colour from midwinter and it just keeps coming, providing real impact during the months where the garden usually looks bare.
The foliage is lush, deep green and incredibly healthy-looking, which makes the bright flowers stand out even more. You get that classic cottage-garden charm, but with the sort of stamina that would make most summer bedding blush.
Excellent for front-of-border plantings where they'll pop against bare soil or evergreen structure. And they're so reliable, you don’t need to do much at all. They’ll happily flower away, come frost or hail.
This multiflora strain has been specially bred to produce a much higher flower count per plant than regular polyanthus, and that’s what makes the difference. The performance is just extraordinary.
Top Tips
It is best to acclimatise your polyanthus plants to outside conditions over 7 to 10 days, before planting out in their final positions.
Care Information
- Choose a position in full sun or semi shade on any fertile, moist, well drained soil.
- Keep well watered (but not waterlogged) until established - during the winter, avoid over-watering and don't allow water to sit in the crown as this may cause the plants to rot in cold conditions.
- Deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers.
- Established or overcrowded clumps of flowers can be divided in late autumn and early spring.
Delivery Information
Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.
Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.
We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.
For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
