Description
A world-first agapanthus! 'Emerald Ice' is a true breakthrough with green white blooms, with bold emerald centres. The unique colour twist gives it a clean, crisp look and exotic flair.
This variety forms neat, clumping mounds of glossy, strap-like foliage, and come July it starts to throw up tall, sturdy stems topped with rounded heads of striking two-tone flowers. Flowering continues for weeks, right through to September, making it a standout feature in borders, gravel gardens, or patio pots.
Plus, 'Emerald Ice' is drought tolerant, low maintenance and very hardy, coming back stronger and more floriferous each year.

Top Tips
You will often get more flowers when the roots are restricted, so definitely a plant that does better in a pot (plus it can be moved out of the worst of the winter weather).
Care Information
- Feed with a general-purpose fertiliser monthly from spring until flowering, then, from the end of September reduce watering and feeding to allow the foliage to harden.
- In colder parts of the UK, cover the crown of the plant with a deep, dry mulch to protect the plants from hard frosts, or grow in a pot so they can be overwintered in an unheated greenhouse.

Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.
Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.
We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.
