Expect heavy crops of sweet, juicy cherry tomatoes from early summer into autumn. 'Tumbling Tom' varieties are renowned for their reliability and massive yields, while 'Rocola Chocolate' adds novelty colour and impressive sweetness. All are compact, self branching and ideal for smaller gardens, balconies and patios.

This is space saving vegetable growing with real flavour rewards! No grow bags, no complicated training - just hang, water, feed and pick.

Top Tips

Never let the compost dry out completely. Even short dry spells can reduce fruit size and sweetness. Steady watering and regular feeding are the secret to heavy crops and outstanding flavour.

Care Information

On Arrival: Unpack your baskets straight away and remove all packaging. Check the compost surface and water thoroughly if it feels dry. Let excess water drain before hanging. Give the plants a few days in a sheltered, bright spot to settle after their journey.
Where To Hang: Choose a sunny, open position. Tomatoes need as much direct light as possible to crop heavily and develop sweetness. A south or west facing wall, fence or sturdy bracket is ideal. Shelter from strong winds to prevent damage and reduce moisture loss.
How To Care: Water consistently. Hanging baskets dry out far quicker than pots and those in the ground, especially in warm weather. In summer, daily watering may be needed. Feed weekly with a high potash tomato fertiliser once flowers appear to support strong growth and continuous fruit production. Remove any yellowing leaves to keep plants healthy and focused on cropping.
How To Harvest: Pick tomatoes once fully coloured and slightly soft to the touch. They taste best warm from the sun. Harvest regularly to encourage further flowering and fruiting. Frequent picking keeps plants productive all season long.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
