'Sungold SuperSweet' is four times sweeter than supermarket tomatoes and can produce more than 400 fruits from each plant over an exceptionally long cropping season!
There is something truly special about these glowing golden-orange cherry tomatoes. Each one is bursting with remarkable sweetness, achieving an impressive 'BRIX' reading of 11.5%. BRIX is the measurement used to indicate the natural sugar content found in fruit.
That figure is higher than most strawberries and around four times greater than many shop-bought tomatoes. They are so deliciously sweet that children will happily pick and eat them like sweets straight from the plant.
This wonderfully productive variety can deliver more than 400 fruits per plant, with harvests continuing from June right through to October. Grow it in patio pots, borders or a greenhouse for months of freshly picked tomatoes.
It is also an especially easy-going bush tomato. Unlike many varieties that require regular side-shooting and pinching out, 'Sungold SuperSweet' needs none of this fiddly maintenance. Simply plant, water consistently and feed weekly once flowering begins.
The delicate skins and juicy, sugar-sweet flesh make these golden fruits perfect for salads, lunchboxes or enjoying while still warm from the sun. Disease resistant and straightforward to grow, this is a brilliant choice for beginners and experienced gardeners alike.
The sturdy plug plants arrive in April, ready to pot up before planting outdoors from early May. By midsummer, you could be gathering handfuls of sweet golden tomatoes every day.
Supplied as a set of six plug plants, ready for potting up and growing on before planting outdoors.

How to grow:
Step 1. Tomatoes are best grown in a growing bags or large pots of compost where they can be fed and watered regularly.
Step 2. Plant up into their containers from April onwards. Plant 2-3 plants per growing bag or 1 per pot, burying up to the first set of true leaves. Leggy plants can be buried deeper as the underground stems will root. Water in well and add your plant label.
Step 3. Grow on for a couple of weeks before placing outside after hardening off. Cover plants with horticultural fleece on any unexpectedly cold nights.
Step 4. As plants grow, keep them watered every day and feed once a week with a tomato feed.
Step 5. Support the plants as they get taller with a stake (or leave them to tumble in a basket), tying in the stems.
Step 6. Pick tomatoes when they are fully ripe.
