This flowering Fuchsia Tree is one of the most effective, and easiest, ways to add height, drama, and colour to your garden. What makes it special? It's already been carefully grown into a strong central stem with a rounded crown, so you don't need years of patience to enjoy that 'standard' tree form, you get the wow-factor straight away.

From late spring to the first frosts, it will reward you with masses of vivid blooms in stunning shades. These blooms are as elegant as they are abundant, bringing a real touch of charm to patios, decking, balconies or even directly in the border. Fuchsias are also a magnet for pollinators, so you''ll be helping local bees and butterflies too.

This plant can be overwintered in a frost-free space and brought back again next year. That makes it brilliant value for money, especially considering its size and instant display power. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this is a confidence-boosting choice.

Supplied as an established plant, approx. 65-80cm tall in a 19cm pot. Please note early season deliveries will be towards bottom end of this specification.

Care Information

Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil, with shelter from the wind.
When planting in the ground, plant the base of the stem 5cm below the soil surface and provide a deep winter mulch and shelter from the wind. Water fuchsia plants sufficiently to keep the compost moist but not waterlogged and do not leave plants standing in water.
Fuchsias prefer shade for the hottest part of the day.
Standard fuchsias should always be brought under cover for winter as the main stem is prone to frost damage. If grown in the garden, dig up plants and pot up before moving under cover.
A balanced, liquid fertiliser used in summer encourages better blooms over a long flowering period.
When in active growth, you can pinch out tips to increase the potential number of blooms, although this will delay actual flowering - flowers usually open six to eight weeks after you finish stopping.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
