These French lavenders burst into life with large, eye-catching purple blooms, each crowned with butterfly-like petals, for unbeatable summer-long colour and a rich, heady fragrance.

Perfectly shaped into a neat mini standard form, 'Anouk' bring structure, elegance, and a Mediterranean feel to patios, balconies, and doorways. Whether planted in decorative pots or positioned in beds and borders, these striking lavender offer an effortless way to add year-round interest to your garden. The silvery-green, evergreen foliage stays attractive throughout the seasons, while the striking flowers provide a vital nectar source for bees and butterflies.

As one of the most robust French lavenders, 'Anouk' is well-suited to the British climate, boasting excellent disease resistance and superb drought tolerance. They thrive in free-draining soil and love a sunny spot, making them a fantastic low-maintenance option for busy gardeners.

Supplied as a pair of established mini standard plants, around 35-45cm tall in 12cm pots, ready to plant.

Top Tips

In late summer, clip the plants back lightly after the flowers have faded. Cut the stems back by a few inches, but not so far that the stems are bare of live foliage, and plants will then have time to produce new shoots before winter dormancy. This will help to retain the attractive standard shape.

Care Information

These drought-tolerant plants thrive in sunny borders, containers, herb or gravel gardens.
Best planted between April and May when the soil is warming up, but can be planted anytime ground conditions are not waterlogged or frozen. Lavender thrives in most free-draining soils in full sun.
Heavier soils should have some grit added to improve drainage and to open them up.
Lavender can be grown in large pots, 30-40cm diameter, using a multipurpose or loam-based compost, with some extra coarse grit added to improve drainage, along with some controlled release fertiliser granules.
Ensure that the compost is regularly watered in summer, although for improved cold tolerance, kept on the dry side during winter by standing in a cold greenhouse or in the rain shadow of walls.

Delivery Information

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
