Hydrangea 'Living Little Rosy' brings a remarkable 100 days of colour-changing flowers to a naturally compact plant, making it a brilliant choice for gardeners who want months of impact without a large shrub taking over.
From early summer, the flowers open almost pure white before gradually deepening to a rich rosy-pink as the season progresses. This changing display continues through summer and well into autumn, giving you months of colour from one easy-to-grow plant.
Reaching only around 70cm tall and 70cm wide, 'Living Little Rosy' has a low, spreading habit that works beautifully at the front of borders, in beds, patio pots or planted in groups for greater impact. Three plants will cover approximately 1m², creating a low carpet of Hydrangea flowers while helping to smother weeds beneath their dense growth.
Bred by renowned Hydrangea breeder Alex Schoemaker and introduced through his Living Creations brand, this compact panicle Hydrangea combines long flowering performance with excellent garden resilience.
It is also exceptionally hardy, tolerating temperatures down to -30C, so once established it is made to return with another colourful display year after year.
Supplied as an established plant with 4-5 branches, in a generous 2 litre pot, already approximately 25-30cm tall including pot. Just three plants fill around 1m².
Hydrangeas love to be kept well watered, and will produce bigger, glossier, more substantial leaves when provided with regular moisture.
Try to use rainwater to water hydrangeas, since mains hard water can affect the flower colour.
