Description

Few spring flowers stop people in their tracks quite like Narcissus 'Bridal Crown'. With layers of soft, creamy petals and a warm, sweet scent, this double daffodil has a presence all its own. It brings both visual impact and fragrance to borders, pots and cut arrangements, and it�s incredibly easy to grow.

The blooms emerge in early to mid spring, each stem bearing multiple ruffled flowers with subtle apricot centres. It�s a look that�s both elegant and timeless, and one that looks like it belongs in a high-end florist�s window.

This variety is a brilliant choice for gardeners of all levels. The bulbs are fully hardy, low maintenance and ideal for naturalising. Just plant them in autumn, and they�ll return each year with more flowers and stronger growth. They work brilliantly in formal borders, woodland-style planting, or grouped in large containers.

Bees and other pollinators love them too, particularly on those early spring days when forage is still scarce. And the scent? It�s powerful enough to catch on the breeze, so be sure to plant them where you'll pass them often.

Top Tips

Which way up? Usually pointy end upwards, but if you are not sure, plant the bulb on its side and it will eventually right itself.
Add mycorrhizal fungi to the roots before planting to encourage faster and more reliable establishment.
For long-lasting cut flowers, soak stems in warm water before placing in your vase.

Care Information

Planting Advice for your bulbs:

It is best to get your bulbs in the ground as soon as you can so that they can establish a good root system before the weather becomes too cold.
Please check the bag for any additional planting instructions.
Plant bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10cm apart.
They are fine to plant even if a little green growth is showing; they will just need a good watering when you plant them, and thereafter only when the soil is dry.
Leave them in the ground once they die back, they will come back bigger and better each year.
While all the energy that a bulb needs in order to grow is stored in the bulb itself, they will do better if you feed them when in active green growth.
Plant in herbaceous borders, in pots, or leave in the ground to naturalise.

Water frequently and if in pots, ensure that the compost doesn't dry out.

Our experienced team at the nursery will always carefully package and send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive once you receive and plant them. Although most plants are extremely tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme of weather conditions, we always avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme frosts or heat is forecast. We also avoid dispatching orders over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. If you have ordered a 'pre-order' item, these will be sent out as soon as possible after the quoted dispatch date and we generally ship your entire order with any pre-ordered items. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with details on how you can track it.

We send most of our orders via a fully tracked courier service with Yodel. We will send you a tracking link as soon as your order has been dispatched. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, we will not require a signature on delivery, and we ask out couriers to leave your item in a safe place ad your delivery address.

If you have delivery instruction and require our courier to leave your item in a specific place, please let us know - there is an option to leave a message for the courier at the checkout.

For smaller and single-item orders, we may send these via the post with Royal Mail - Tracking will not be available for orders sent via this method.
