  • 50 x Allium ‘Drumsticks’ – Dozens of green buds form drumstick-shaped flowerheads that darken to magenta, with long straight stems above low-growing foliage. Flowers July to August, up to 90cm tall. Bulb size 4/5.
  • 25 x Muscari Armeniacum – The grape hyacinth, with poker-like clusters of densely packed, bell-shaped, purple-blue flowers in April and May, growing to 20cm. Bulb size 6/7.

Note – we reserve the right to substitute one or two components to an equal number and value should insufficient stocks be available all season.

Top Tips
  • Leave the foliage until it dies back, so it has chance to feed the bulbs ready for next year.
Care Information
  • Plant bulbs at twice the depth of the height of the bulb and four times their width apart. e.g 5cm tall bulbs need to be planted 10cm below the surface of the ground and 20cm apart.
  • Bulbs are fine to plant even if a little green growth is already starting to show, they’ll just need a good watering when you plant them, and then only when the soil dries.
  • Leave them in the ground once they die back – they’ll come back bigger and better each year, although some gardeners do prefer to lift tulips and store them over winter.
  • While all the energy that a bulb needs in order to grow is stored in the bulb itself, they will do better if you feed them when in active green growth.
